Point. Scan. Paid.

QR codes, phone numbers, and SOTCoin handles all do the same thing — move money between two people in a heartbeat.

Three ways to pay

Choose what fits the moment

Scan a QR

Open the app, frame the code, confirm the amount. Ideal for markets, cafes, and side-of-road meals.

Phone number

Send to a contact even if they’re not on SOTCoin yet — they’ll get an invite to claim the money.

SOTCoin handle

Each account has a unique @handle. Share it once and friends can pay you forever.

Request money

Split a dinner or remind someone about rent with a one-tap payment link.

Receipts both ways

Sender and receiver both get an in-app confirmation, so disputes stay rare.

Add a note

Tag every transfer with what it was for — useful for splits, gifts, or remembering who paid for what.

The QR code, in detail

A pattern your wallet recognises in any light.

Every SOTCoin account generates a personal receive QR you can show on screen, print, or stick on a counter. Scanning one opens the payment sheet with the recipient already filled in — all you do is type an amount and confirm. Merchants get a tighter version that pre-fills the price too, so paying for a coffee is exactly two taps.
How it works

From decision to delivered in under ten seconds

  1. Pick the person

Tap a recent contact, scan their QR, or type their @handle.
  2. Enter the amount

Add an optional note so the receiver knows what it’s for.
  3. Confirm and done

Funds land in their wallet instantly. Both of you get a receipt.

Common questions

What if I send to the wrong person?
Always double-check the name and handle before confirming. SOTCoin transfers behave like cash — once received, they’re final, so the receiver has to send it back.
Is there a limit on how much I can send?
Daily and monthly limits depend on your verification level. You can review them in the app under Settings.
Can I cancel a payment?
Sent payments are instant and cannot be reversed, which is why we ask for explicit confirmation each time.
Does the other person need an account?
To receive money inside SOTCoin, yes. If they’re not on yet, your payment becomes an invite and they claim it once they sign up.

Paying someone should feel like passing cash.

With SOTCoin, it's even faster — and there's a receipt.
